Construction of a 10,300 square foot cardiology Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) fit-out in Horsham, Pa. The ASC program included (3) operating rooms, (1) procedure room , (10) pre/post-op bays and sitework to establish (3) new building entry points. The ASC included both DOH and DAAC physical inspections and licensing approvals for the cardio procedures to be performed. While the project was in an existing building, the existing utilities were insufficient to support the ASC, so the scope included new domestic water, sanitary sewer and electrical infrastructure. The project also included integration with an existing generator system with new automatic transfer switches and emergency electrical distribution. The project was completed in June 2024 and fully licensed in October 2024.
Construction of a 10,500 square foot cardiology clinic located adjacent to the ASC. The cardiology suite includes exam rooms, demonstration kitchen, rehab gym and (2) PET CT camera rooms. While the project was in an existing building, the existing utilities were insufficient, so the scope included new domestic water, sanitary sewer and electrical infrastructure. The project was completed in December 2023.
MidAtlantic completed the infrastructure upgrades and installation required to accommodate a second PET/CT scanner just one year after the facility’s initial opening. To ensure uninterrupted patient care and daily operations, all work was carefully coordinated and performed during after-hours shifts.
MidAtlantic completed the infrastructure upgrades and equipment installation necessary to fully equip the ASC’s third operating room with advanced bi-plane imaging technology. Similar to the PET/CT expansion, the work was carefully phased and performed during after-hours shifts to eliminate disruptions to the facility’s ongoing operations and patient care.
