A Place to Learn, Grow, and Explore

MidAtlantic transformed a vacant Walgreens pharmacy into the newest Marigold Academy daycare, preschool, and childcare center in Princeton, New Jersey. Through the adaptive reuse of the existing retail space, the project reimagined the former storefront as a bright, secure, and welcoming environment designed to support early childhood learning and development.

From the secured entry vestibule to the vibrant classrooms, every aspect of the facility was thoughtfully designed with child-friendly finishes and safety in mind. Most classrooms provide direct access to dedicated outdoor play areas featuring padded turf surfaces and age-appropriate playground equipment, creating inviting spaces for exploration, learning, and adventure.

The completed facility reflects Marigold Academy’s mission of providing a nurturing, “home away from home” atmosphere where children can grow with confidence while developing socially, emotionally, and academically.
